Heggedal Retreat Center is a meditation space located on the outskirts of the picturesque village, Heggedal, approximately 30 km from Oslo. Run by volunteer lay practitioners and under the spiritual guidance of our teacher, Lama Ole Nydahl, the center overlooks the beautiful Grodalen Forest, or “the Valley of Growth”. It is a tranquil location perfect for meditation and friendly gatherings. Throughout the year, we organize various activities, including lectures and courses with seasoned traveling teachers.
